It has been a concerning week in Destiny 2, but if there’s one constant in this game, it’s a visit from your friendly arms dealer Xur. The Agent of the Nine has returned with a fresh assortment of Exotic and Legendary-class gear, and with just a few weeks to go before Legendary Shards are retired, now is the time to go on a spending spree. Here’s where Xur is this week and what he has for sale.
This week you can find Xur in the EDZ, in the Winding Cove area. For his weapon, Xur is offering Arbalest. Hunters can pick up the Mehcaneer’s Tricksleeves gauntlets; Titans can grab the Wormgod Caress gauntlets; and Warlocks can buy the Transversive Steps leg armor.
Xur Location
Spawn in at the Winding Cove transmat zone, then hop on your sparrow and go north. Take the collapsed overpass on the left and look for a cave near the bend in the road. Follow the tunnel through the cliff face to reach a higher ridge where a Fallen dropship has crashed; you’ll find Xur waiting there.
Xur Exotic and Legendary Items
- Exotic Engram – 97 Legendary Shards
- Arbalest – 29 Legendary Shards
- Mechaneer’s Tricksleeves -23 Legendary Shards
- Wormgod Caress – 23 Legendary Shards
- Transversive Steps – 23 Legendary Shards
- Hawkmoon – 200 Legendary Shards, 125,000 Glimmer, 1 Ascendant Shard, 1 Exotic Cipher
- Xenology quest – Free
- Legendary weapons and armor – 50 Legendary Shards, 1,000 Glimmer
Xur also offers the Xenology quest every week, which requires you to complete 21 Vanguard Ops or win Crucible and Gambit matches so that you can earn an Exotic Cipher. These are normally used to buy old Exotics from a kiosk in the Tower, but beginning this season, you’ll be able to spend them at Master Rahool to get the Exotics that you want. The cap on Exotic Ciphers has also increased, as you’ll now be able to hold up to five of them at a time.
Exotic Armor
Mechaneer’s Tricksleeves (Exotic Hunter gauntlets)
If you’re playing as Hunter and you really enjoy using sidearms, these are the Exotics to have equipped. Mechaneer’s Tricksleeves increases sidearm airborne effectiveness, ready speed, and reload speed, and when you’re critically wounded, swapping to a sidearm will instantly reload it and increase damage from itVenir de Tragamonedas Gratis Online. Sidearm final blows reload the weapon and extend the duration of this buff, making it useful with Exotics like Trespasser, Forerunner, and Traveler’s Chosen. For the stats, this Exotic has very nice resilience and decent recovery, discipline, and intellect.
- Mobility: 4
- Resilience: 22
- Recovery: 10
- Discipline: 15
- Intellect: 10
- Strength: 6
- Total: 67
Wormgod Caress (Exotic Titan gauntlets)
One of the best Titan builds you can use right now is focused on Banner of War, and if you don’t have Synthoceps in your arsenal, Wormgod Caress is a good substitute. Melee kills increase melee damage for a period of time and additional kills extend the duration and increases this effect. Pair it with Monte Carlo, and this has the potential to be a devastating Exotic combo while using Strand. The stats aren’t great though, as it has very poor resilience and strength, while mobility is unnecessarily high. Intellect, recovery, and discipline make up for these shortcomings, but you’ll need to apply some armor mods to address the shortcomings of this roll.
- Mobility: 18
- Resilience: 3
- Recovery: 11
- Discipline: 10
- Intellect: 19
- Strength: 2
- Total: 63
Transversive Steps (Exotic Warlock leg armor)
Transversive Steps is one of those Warlock Exotics that works best in PvP. Sprint speed is increased and your currently equipped weapon will be automatically reloaded after a short jog, so this works well in modes like Control. You’ll have to watch out for the poor resilience stat on this Exotic, but average mobility and strength alongside high recovery and intellect are pretty great with this version.
- Mobility: 11
- Resilience: 2
- Recovery: 19
- Discipline: 2
- Intellect: 16
- Strength: 14
- Total: 64
Exotic Weapons
Arbalest (Exotic linear fusion rifle)
If you’re looking to carry a linear fusion rifle in your energy slot, Arbalest is a pretty good choice. It can demolish Barrier Champions thanks to its intrinsic perk Compounding Force, and Disruption Break is pretty useful when dealing with shielded foes. Break their shield with Arbalest and you’ll deal bonus damage to them when using a kinetic weapon.
- Disruption Break
- Compounding Force
- Extended Barrel
- Project Fuse
- Composite Stock
Hawkmoon (Exotic hand cannon)
We had this roll of Hawkmoon last week, and in case you missed it, the Quickdraw perk allows for this gun to be drawn quickly. Beyond that, feel free to give it a miss this week as there’s nothing else notable about this roll of the Exotic hand cannon.
- Paracausal Shot
- Polygonal Rifling
- Alloy Magazine
- Quickdraw
- Polymer Grip

Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss. However, there are a set number of locations where he takes up residence, including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher’s Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.
